In just six months, the ruling government has failed, according to the Jamaat-e-Islami’s Long March schedule, said acting BNP Chairperson Ruhul Kabir Rizvi. In a conversation with journalists on Sunday (September 6) at the party’s Nayapaltan office, he made this statement.
Rizvi, acting BNP Chairperson, said, “Instead of rectifying any errors in the current government’s administration, the opposition is attempting to create chaos on the streets under the guise of a Long March, rather than constructively criticizing the government’s work.” He called for a responsible opposition’s approach to criticism.
He further stated, “If the opposition had alternative proposals regarding power, gas, or fuel, they could have presented them in Parliament. However, instead of acting like a responsible opposition, they have chosen to take to the streets.”
