**In the wake of the quadruple murder case in Rangpur, relief and rehabilitation minister Asadul Habib Dulu has assured that the trial process will be expedited with the charge sheet filed swiftly in a short span of time.**

Minister Dulu made these remarks on Saturday (5th September) during an interaction with journalists following the laying of the foundation stone of the Burn Unit in the Service Building of Rangpur Medical College Hospital at 11 am.

Expressing his concerns about the incident, the minister said, “We cannot accept this brutal killing in any way. While there are various speculations and controversies surrounding the mystery of this killing, the investigation is facing several complexities, hence taking a bit of time.”

He further stated, “Our primary concern is to identify the culprits and those involved behind this killing through a fair investigation and bring them under the purview of law. We hope to accomplish this through a fair investigation and complete the trial process swiftly by filing a charge sheet in a short period.”

Speaking about the hospital, the minister said, “I am here to follow up on the decisions taken in the last meeting. I hope we can start the new ICU beds within the next month.”

Later, the minister joined the monthly meeting of the Hospital Management Committee, assuring solutions to various issues of the hospital.

Prior to this, the minister inaugurated the new building of the government’s regional commissionerate office in the secretariat of the city.
